About Us

We are a new technology company established as part of our broader business diversification program. We are currently exploring technology-driven business opportunities in Ethiopia, with a strong focus on practical solutions that can create long-term value for businesses.

As part of this initiative, we are conducting a market and feasibility study around Electronic Invoicing System (EIS), POS, ERP, and Odoo-based business solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Business & Market Strategy Consultant to work closely with our R&D team during this stage.

The Role

This is not a conventional market research assignment. We are looking for someone who understands both technology and business and can help us understand the market, identify real opportunities, and determine how to successfully enter and compete in it.

You will help us:

• Conduct and analyze customer and market research.
• Understand the current demand for EIS, POS, ERP, and business management software.
• Assess Odoo's capabilities and potential in the Ethiopian market.
• Identify customer needs, pain points, and purchasing behavior.
• Analyze competitors and market gaps.
• Develop practical customer acquisition and onboarding strategies.
• Identify potential partnerships and distribution channels.
• Evaluate pricing and viable business models.
• Support pilot customer identification and validation.
• Translate research findings into clear product and go-to-market recommendations.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in someone with:

• Practical Odoo knowledge and experience.
• Experience in ERP, POS, accounting, or business management software.
• Strong market research and customer discovery skills.
• Business development and B2B Software sales experience.
• Good understanding of customer acquisition and onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian business and technology market.
• Ability to analyze a market and turn findings into practical business strategies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

An Odoo functional consultant, business consultant, implementation specialist, or business development professional with strong commercial experience would be a good fit.
